More suggested name changes for Steelers, carping about Tomlin's assistants, a request from a serviceman in Kuwait, a great video homage to the Jaw and a welcome to Mike Tomlin, plus a weekend YouTube treat for Steelers fans feeling wistful about last year ... MORE STEELER NAME CHANGES: "Brett Keisel to "Grizzly Adams" Keisel" -- Craig Johnston, South Side of Pittsburgh "Bryant McFadePattern, an homage to the deep cover skills of our DB's. Prince Rocks Super Bowl Halftime Show
Phew! CBS got through the halftime show without a "wardrobe malfunction." The Artist Formerly Known as a Munchkin of Wardrobe Dysfunction began by singing "Let's Go Crazy," but he didn't. Prince, who became a Jehovah's Witness in the mid-1990s, no longer wears yellow, butt-baring pants as he did at the 1991 MTV Video Music Awards (prompting Howard Stern's send-up at the '92 VMAs). The closest thing to a fashion statement Sunday night was an odd kerchief on his head. So the NFL had no repeat of the 2004 Janet Jackson/Justin Timberlake show, which happened the last time CBS broadcast the game. .
Keeler: For UNI, home is where the heartburn is - and road doesn't ...
Cedar Falls, Ia. - The good news is the Panthers somehow found their mojo again Tuesday night. The bad news is that it happened with about 8 minutes left in the second half, when they were already down 16 points and threatening to get blown out of their own building. "Dig yourself that big a hole," junior center Eric Coleman said after Northern Iowa's 67-61 loss to Wichita State, "(and) it's hard to come back." And that's where the Panthers find themselves this morning. Stuck in a hole. Northern Iowa is riding a three-game losing streak for the first time since the 2003-04 season. Since starting 4-0 in the Missouri Valley Conference on Jan. 6, the Panthers have lost five of seven. Up next: Five of eight away from the McLeod Center, starting with a Hoosier-state swing through Evansville and Indiana State.
